The Advancement Services Coordinator is responsible for using and managing all aspects of the Raiser's Edge NXT database to help meet the development goals of Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast.
This position works closely with the Executive Director to manage the day-to-day operations of the Raiser's Edge Database.
This includes ensuring gift and data integrity, providing reporting solutions, queries and exports for all Advancement staff, and tracking and analyzing prospect and donor fundraising efforts for all fundraisers working with the Office of Advancement.
The Advancement Services Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the Executive Director of Advancement and take a lead role in donor appreciation activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Manage the Raiser's Edge NXT database:
Manage day-to-day operation of the Raiser's Edge Database to include but not limited to:
creating actions, events, etc.
; appeal additions, and coding queries to keep records up-to-date with mailings and invitations.
Create and execute ad hoc requests for reports, queries, and exports with the goal of being more proactive with reports on special fundraising projects, as well as everyday fundraising activities.
Serve as the liaison to staff, President, and others for developing various lists.
Meet report and information request deadlines and ensure that the information reported is current and accurate.
This also includes special requests for lists for mailings, cultivation events, donor visits, etc.
Responsible for gift integrity.
Contributions are added to the database and is responsible to validate all gifts ensuring proper coding and accuracy of the information entered.
Ensure adherence of the collection and appropriate coding of planned gifts in Raiser's Edge.
Responsible for scanning backup material and linking media to records.
Responsible for prospect and donor data entry oversight to include solicitor and rating entry and coding as well as updating the database with new biographical information including addresses, business and employer information, personal information, activities, name changes, and event invitations.
Assist in database clean-up and maintenance, including the elimination of duplicate accounts and establishment of new donor records.
Research best practices for data integrity practices and pro-actively communicate to staff opportunities to enhance our donor record information.
Summary:

Gift entry, daily gift reports, and preparation of thank you letters.
Reconciling monthly and year-end giving reports with the business office Scanning and maintaining gift correspondence/records in Raisers Edge and donor files Creating and providing reports to analyze the effectiveness of fundraising appeals and activities.
Creating queries and mailing lists for targeted and personalized communications to various constituencies for purposes including the spring and fall appeals, sponsorship appeals, and invitations to the fall fundraiser.
Maintenance/clean-up of database records (i.
e.
merging duplicates, etc.
) Donor cultivation activities, including the student thank-a-thon and thank you notes Other projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience working with a fundraising or CRM database required.
Raiser's Edge experience preferred.
Ability to create mail merges using Word and Excel Must be able to use Google Drive, Calendar, Meet, Docs, Sheets, and Gmail A willingness to work occasional nights and weekends.
Able to obtain legally required criminal and child abuse background checks.
