Work Independently with Peers who are diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Health Disabilities.

Your job is designed to promote empowerment and self-determination mentoring that allows individuals with intellectual disabilities and mental health diagnosis achieve personal wellness.
Teach people how to cope with the stressors and barriers encountered when recovering from their mental health.
WE HIRE PEOPLE IN RECOVERY FROM MENTAL ILLNESS AND/OR CO-OCCURRING SUBSTANCE ABUSE Must Meet Minimum Requirements Below Must Be Self-Identified with a serious emotional disturbance or serious mental illness.
Must have a High School Diploma/ GED or College Education Must Have Within the last three (3) years, at least 12 months of work or volunteer experience, OR earned at least 24 credit hours Must Have Reliable Transportation Already CPS certified through state of PA Must be willing to travel throughout Philadelphia
